Just a normal girl...in a crazy pixel world... designing, exploring, meeting and having fun. I came to SL to explore its creative potential.. I never thought I would be a clothing designer! But here I am.. enjoying my design work along with other building projects. I started this blog to highlight some of my designs, things I love, places I see.. whatever occurs to me to share. Falling.....

The trees blaze full of color.... the backdrop for this understated, relaxed and casual fall look. My inspiration for this new "look" is autumn! A beautiful season full of color and romance. Again, the idea is to mix and match LoveCats items to get a new and unique look.

A casual stroll through the woods finds trees on fire with color.. the sunlight streaming between the leaves.

Stopping to relax in the grass.. taking in the scents and sounds, breathing in the crisp air

The warm smell of burning wood guides her to a spot to warm by the fire.. the slight chill in the air gone with the crackling fire.

Here I am wearing from LoveCats:
Sweater and scarf from Ica outfit pink
Jeans- LoveCats shredded jeans olive
Shoes- from Allure outfit pink
Belt- from Distortion
Silver bracelet from Plastik
Rose and silver bracelet from Mystik

and since I can't have *everything* on hand for the perfect look....I have added:
Skin- al vulo
Hair- emo-tions
Nails- Candy Nail
Hope you like it! <33 LC

Ophelia..... a haunting

Happy Halloween! This is my favorite holiday and as I missed posting yesterday (for the sake of hot cider, pumpkin picking and a hayride) I'll be putting up two Halloween related posts today!

Following in the theme... I put together another costume, which is inspired by Shakespeare's Ophelia.. but with a little twist. Here I envision her haunting her watery grave.... (for a little brush up on our Shakespeare read on....) Again.. the idea is to use LoveCats items to create as much of the look as possible.

Ophelia is a character from the Shakespearean play Hamlet. Distraught over Hamlet, she either slipped and drowned.... or as is suggested in the play, killed herself in madness and heartbreak.

And if this is a little out there for you.. I think it would still make a great base for a ghastly costume (think dead bride, etc)

Flowers and plants cling to her as she wanders the lonely nearby fields

She slips comfortably back to her watery home

Here I am wearing from LoveCats:
Skin- Kitten skin white
Shape- Kitten shape grey
Eyes- Frostbite eyes from Frostbite avatar
Outfit- Ophelia Lost (on sale at half off right now! 200L)

and since I can't have *everything* on hand for the perfect look....I have added:
Hair- Red Queen
Lashes- MIASNOW
Eye Makeup (tintable)- TULI

Demon in the Forest

While I'm comfortable in Second Life barefoot and in jeans, I love the myriad of looks we can have here. I might be found as a mermaid, a neko, fairy, or anything in between. Why wear what we wear in real life? Sure, it is nice and comfortable... but why not explore? Halloween is the *perfect* time to play... just like in RL we can be whatever we want to be, so lets have fun!

Today I went to the extreme (for me) with this all black demon look. The idea, of course, is to wear my own designs.. but with a twist.

Clearly this dark creature is lost- in a mystical land... wandering through the trees to find her way home

Flying to the treetops, she surveys the forest below

Finally she spies her means of escape... back to her netherworld home.

Here I am wearing from LoveCats:
